Zero Water is the only product that cleans my water ,they say it could last up 3-4 months and they give a test meter to test it. I only get around 2 months because my water is pretty hard.

BIRITA on the other hand is a scam and it used a flow counter and can be reset by unplugging it from tap and re install. Also did you ever take it apart it is only charcoal which doesn't take chlorine out it just changes it so you don't taste or smell it. Used a water test strip and it does not change it what so ever. Here is something to ponder .

Did you know where ever you see something bad about other products they show a BIRITA commercial below it. This is a marketing tool for BIRITA this web site originates from them, clever but the real truth is in their product and if you test it you will find that it is no good

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Brita is a scam? Get real.

Brita is an internationally-recognized brand and the standard in counter top filters. It it a perfect filter? No, but it also doesn't have, in my opinion, the design flaws of Zero Water as described by numerous customers here and elsewhere. Namely, issues with short filter life and contaminated water once the filter is used up.

In my opinion, Zero Water is a pitiful attempt to simplify the results of a reverse osmosis filter. If you want the cleanest possible water at an economic rate, install and RO filter. Brita, Mavea and Pur, all reputable brands, do not claim to be anything but charcoal filters. In what sense is this a scam?

They tell you exactly what is filtered out and at what rate right in the instructions. What Zero Water does NOT tell you in the instructions (or written anywhere that I could find), however, is that once their filter's life is up, it actually seeps the filtered contents back into the water you're drinking! I only found this out after calling Zero Water to complain about my fishy smelling water. The worst thing that happens if you use overuse a Brita filter is that you're consuming tap water.

With Zero Water, however, if you overuse the filter you could be consuming more toxins than are in your tap water! Buyer beware.
