We purchased a Zero system and used it for a week and noticed the filtered water had a lemony citrus taste. I changed filter and was ok for a few days and then noticed coffee was murky looking and then again found the citrus taste to the filtered water. I actually bought 2 planning to use 1 in our mtrhm. I will take them both back and go back to our Brita's. I also had different readings that seemed to be off with tester, so I ordered another...

I also wondered about the filter lifespan. So I did my own precise water study. I purchased two filters form different stores even. One lasted 5 (singular number) 5 full container cycles. The other 7. If you have these, you know they are not cheap. If you don't have a zero water....well depending on your use, plan on spending A LOT of money on filters. HMMM then again the genius is the maker who probably knew this and figured how many years...

I purchased a new Zero Water "system" about six weeks ago. About a week ago I noticed the water was beginning to taste citrusy. At first I thought that perhaps I had mistakenly poured some lemony water into the filter, but after several days I now realize that it is the ZW filter causing this phenomenon. I compared the Zero Water filtered water against my unfiltered tap water, and other bottled water, and the filtered Zero Water is definitely...

After buying a Zerowater pitcher, the water just came out tasting like acid or lemon on the first pour to the 100th pour with no improvement. Expensive. Disappointed. THANKS FOR STEALING OUR HARD EARNED MONEY, ZEROWATER.

Works great and filters out all solids and metals. Only smells if you are dumb enough to never use the TDS meter. So, if you like drinking aluminum, flouride and lead, then buy a britta

Overall experience with these filters has been fair. Of the fifteen filters I have used over the past four years, about four have been defective. This last filter lasted only four weeks until the filtered water began to have a heavy plastic taste. Immediately threw the filter out. (Are your filters made in China?)

I purchased your zero water pitcher container for my hospital business office, after 2 mos. the filter began to leak out black & pale orange loose particles. The taste of the water didn't taste good. I went to WalMart and purchased another filter & the same thing happened not twice , but now 3 times since I first purchased the pitcher in April this year. What's the problem, I give up, have no answer. KHunter@gmail.com

Not even a month and the water went bad. We tested it 850 ppm. Tap had 300 ppm. Bad product. Will be seeking a refund. It was good to read the other posts as I was concerned for my water supply. I have to enter at least 100 words so I'm adding this sentence. Adding another sentence. Not even a month and the water went bad. We tested it 850 ppm. Tap had 300 ppm. Bad product. The water in pitcher after filtration is brownish with brand new installation of replacement filters purchased through Bed, Bath and Beyond. I have tried both filters to no avail. I have made sure the O ring in positioned correctly and have reassembled the filter on to the mechanism time and time again. This is very disappointing as my daughter was using this in her college dorm room. The TDS meter reads well over the 006 that indicates the need...

I've been using a ZEROWATER 10 cup pitcher for 4 years. I filled it daily and never had to change filter more often than 3 months (as soon as TDS got to 007 I changed it). Our WELL WATER is 115-125 TDS out of the tap (checked dozens of times over three years). A month ago, bought a 23 cup pitcher, and the FIRST FILTER, FIRST FILL had TDS of 009. Hmmm, not right. Checked the four month old pitcher filter at TDS003. Swapped filters, ran another...
