TDS Meter stopped working

Was led to believe that getting batteries for the TDS or a replacement would be no problem but the guy turbed out to be an *** on the second callback. He did say to callback if i had any issues with the TDS meter. I had bought 8 of the starter kits for people so imagine the revenue stream created by me turning people on to Zero, now i'll just order a bunch from various &;; snag the filters & TDS meters just to teach these *** a lesson LOL

Angry at Zero Water.

'Ok, not a chemist. I do not need to be one to know when something isn't right. I can taste it. When I bought the zero water filtration system it was wonderful. I couldn't be happier. When it was time to change the filter the water now tasted terrible from the very first use. I bought another filter. Same thing. The water from the second filter was also horrible from its very first use. I did what was recommended; rinsed the filter, etc. Still nothing. I'm done, wasted my money on a very poor product. I also read somewhere that 'zero water' rebuilds the filters and re-sells them to the public. If that's the case it becomes easy to see where the problem may lie. In the meanwhile my advice to anyone is to never buy this product. It is my new 'mantra' to anyone who will listen. I don't care about ions or any other excuses chemists love to discuss. As a consumer I just want the god damned thing to work. We work hard for our paychecks and when we buy something we expect it to work!!

I live in Northern CA and now experience the same problem with it tasting like plastic. Filter that came in the box with pitcher was fine!

Replacement one is not.

Is that the problem? Where are the separate filters being manufactured?!?

Cracked water tank

Heard from them on April 9 2020 saying a replacement unit would be sent out within 30 days. I tried following up with them mid April and they never responded . This is taking way tooooo long for a replacement over 3 months trying to replace unit . I you can please follow up with them on the status of my approved order thank you

Lemon Water Issue

I've used these filters for a couple of years and never had a problem until this month. I thought that there was something wrong with my water bottle. The water has a strong lemon flavor and it is very concerning. Am I going to get sick now?

Lemon tasting water

Called customer service concerning the awful lemony tasting water. Super kind rep! Said the water takes on a lemon flavor when the filter is exhausted. Asked me to check my tap water which is 485ppm! With water that dirty the filter cant last very long because it has to work so hard! I plan to buy a large container to put bulk filtered water in and then put that in the pitcher! Should save a TON of money on the filters and give me good clean water.

User's recommendation: If your city water is bad consider getting cheap filtered water from your market and use it in your ZeroWater jug! It will save your expensive filters and you will have clean, pure water for a much longer time.

Possible issue with filter

The water in our 30 cup zero water dispenser has recently taken on a very chemically taste. We only got it a month ago and the TDS reading on filtered water is only a 001. I reached out to zero water to see if this was an issue that could be covered under warranty. They told me that because of the TDS level of our tap water, we could only expect to get 8-12 gallons of filtered water out of each filter. Since we'd hit about that many they told me we just needed to buy a new filter. Highly disappointed in the service, the filter needing to be replaced just doesn't make sense with the current TDS rating and I honestly feel like none of the representatives who emailed me were actually listening and just brushed the inquiry off.

User's recommendation: Brita filters last way longer, are cheaper, and are just as good.

Fish Smell

After 2 weeks of using the unit, the water started smelling like dead fish. I see that this has happened to others as well. What in the world is going on? Will have to return.

Any advice please? Suddenly the water is undrinkable.

We have had the filter jug for about 2 years and in that time it has been fine with good quality water being produced most of the time. We are aware about the fishy smell problem and when we get a hint of fish we changed the filter. Today we have a newer problem. The Jug is filtering the water normally but the water tastes disgusting and completely undrinkable. There is no smell of fish but the taste is like something we have never tasted before. We are now using water straight from our tap. It is drinkable and far better than the filtered water. We have changed te filter and still it tastes like cr.p. Can anyone help with what may be wrong or has anyone had a similar problem? If it continues we have no other choice than to ditch the jug and use tap water. If so I will never purchase another jug from Zero and go back to using our Brita. Very annoyed.

An explanion and rectifying solution to the problem.

Water is VERY slow to go through the filter. additionally, the filter doesn't last but maybe one month and I am the only one useing it!

I love the taste of the water and the fact that there are 0 TDS but, I have to say this is very expensive because of having to purchase so many filter cartridges! I'll go back to my refrigerator water.

ORDER NOT SHIPPED

Ordered over two weeks ago wanting to know where 16 pack of zero water was at??? I Ordered from corporate. I said I tried to track and could not track. They said "we have not set tracking up!!" REALLY? Why did you give me the address to track then package? Then they said they were only sending out 2 at a time. WHY DID THEY take my order AND CHARGE MY CARD FOR 16 FILTERS? Unbelievable. They only send 2 at a time so they CAN GOUGE the people for 2. I see. LIERS. LIERS. Tried to give a one star rating for customer service which was not helpful and could care less. They told me they were sending last week and now it will not be sent till ' AFTER MAY 1!!! REALLY?

Slow Filtering

4/14/2020. We have had the Zero Water pitcher for tho weeks. After 2 or 3 fillings, filtering took approximately 20 minutes. We have not tried any of the above recommendations, but shall. Hopefully a re-manufactured filter will be forth coming. The water is terrific. M A Smith Maryland
