Buyer beware
bought new zerowater filters, threads don't mesh with lid, just keeps turning like it has stripped threads, I bought a case of filters, none of them will tighten, don't know what to do, very expensive mistake buying them.

The first filter I bought lasted several months...great
Then I purchased two filters through Amazon. When I installed the first of the two, a lot of black granular material came up in the upper area where I poured in the water. ok...Within a short time, perhaps three weeks the water tasted terrible. I removed it, cleaned the pitcher and installed the other new filter. no granular material. But within two weeks the water tasted terrible. I cant continue to purchase defective filters. What say you? I love the water when it is good, but …..

Be very carefull
My experience with the product seems to be similar to a lot of other people on here. When you first use a new filter, it works fine. But after about 1 or 2 months the water gets very, very skunky and undrinkable. I have never seen this happen with Brita. To make matters worse, I don't always notice it right away because I use the water in my Keurig. Only when I notice my coffee doesn't taste right do I pour water from the Zero into a glass and one whiff will tell you its undrinkable. I'd really like to hear from the company about the exact cause and what they are doing to address this issue

Faulty design
New 23-cup Zerowater pitcher. Water will not go through the filter unless I lift the top and let air into the system. Yes, the filter is correctly installed. Yes, the particulate readers says "000" for my filtered water. However, the design is flawed and not allowing the water to go through the filter when it "airlocks". Sincerely, R.E.S, M.Ed./sciences. Decide for yourself.
I was excited to use my new Zero water. The first coffee I made I thought something happened with the creamer I always use. I noticed that our puppy was preferring to drink the water from the swimming pool (and maybe the toilet too possibly) and stopped drinking water from his bowl.So this a.m. the coffee tasted weird again so I got my old Britta system(lucky I kept it) and used Britta water for my coffee! Mmmm much much better. My puppy isn't brave enough so far to go get a drink yet. Sorry, it just really made my coffee taste BAD. I bought it on clearance and the high dollar filters but you can't return clearance item.
Britta is better after all.

Smells of fish
Bought this product because great reviews, but all the fishy ones it seems. After about 4 weeks of use our water started like fish. It seems from my own research that trimethylamine leeches into the water because of poor design. Wont recommend this product to anyone

How do you clean the reservoir?
I just want to know how to clean the reservoir. A clean tooth brush would help to scrub into all the little divisions in the cover. You should include one in the box so people don't have to get one when they need to clean the reservoir properly.

Filters don't last
For as much money as zero water filters cost, I can never get mine to last more than 2 months. In fact, my water filter currently is starting to taste sour again, and is reading 23, after only 3 weeks. This is actually ridiculous and I would never recommend this product to anyone.

Broken dispenser
This is the 3rd dispenser I have purchased. The nozzle has come off (see photo). I love your water, but the dispenser quality is poor. Is there a replacement option? Thank you, Sara

Pitcher question
I have washed and rinsed my pitcher a hundred times. Mold grows on the bottom of the pitcher so this is necessary. I can’t get it to be clean enough to register zero. Water comes out of filter at zero but once in the pitcher the numbers go up. I am at my wits end. Suggestion?

Wasted water in 40 cup dispenser
The 40 cup glass container in reality only dispenses about 1/3rd of that. The reason is that the spigot is about 1/3rd up from the bottom. So the filtered water has to get up to that lever BEFORE it can come out of the spigot. That means that unless you manually tilt tilt the whole glass container, which could be dangerous, yoy will be losing out on about 1/3rd of the water. And so you are paying more for the 40 cup dispenser which in actuality is only about 25 cups worth. This is very misleading and false advertising.
