Zerowater - Filtered Water Quality Review from Kennewick, Washington

I'm so upset! I have been drinking this a year, my condition has gotten worse! Fibro, my periods, vertigo, bowel issues , my son said I don't trust that water and he drinks tap. I was thinking I should stop because of mineral loss , but I started tasting chemicals and feeling so bad , drinking so much water to help me and I was feeling worse and more thirsty! I'm just sick and heartbroken no fear of God with these people hurting people and making sick people sicker. I prayed with my family tonight I don't want to have hate in my heart! So I pray they will make things right for we ALL answer to GOD! And we all have consequences ! I pray we all get well from this and I'm able to get the news out everywhere!

Oh Lord, I know exactly what you mean,it affecting your health and all. I bought mine and with the very first glass of water MY ARM FELL OFF!

My GOOD arm, too! Of course, putting it down to something unrelated to the Zero Water Filter, I had 2 more glasses the next day and my *** leg fell off!

Naturally I threw it away before I was left a stump.

Seriously, whilst there are now gold flecks in the upper chamber of the jug, it has been almost 2 years I have been using the same filter. It still registers at 0 and it still tastes great although I will buy another filter.

3 weeks old and it smells! | Zerowater review

3.5
Details
Bought a 10 cup pitcher about 3 weeks ago and never got a "000" reading until after the second total filling of the pitcher. Now, noticed the water had an odd taste, then began to smell a fishy odor as well. Now, the pitcher smells awful, even after vinegar and it ruined two Camelback water bottles with the smell/taste of the water. I emailed their customer service and explained this, and said I would just have to replace more often. Umm, I'm sorry, but to get 3 weeks use, at a cost of $15 a piece...it's going back for a refund.

Usefulness, NO | Zerowater review

1.3
Details
Purchasing this filter, it works well for about one week. After one week, its usefulness, the water has a metallic lemon flavor, in other words horrible. Talking with the company, they said they are working on the taste factor after the filter is no longer properly filtering. One week for the price, NO. NO NO to the advertising, of this filter as it does not do what it advertises. The ingredients in the filter are emitting some chemical after one week's use, so I would avoid this company and its products. How can Best Buy and Walmart and others sell this produce? Again NO

Zerowater - Filter Review from Ferguson, Missouri

only works good for about 5 to 6 gallons then I get a weird chemical taste, that makes it twice as expensive as buying bottled water.

Agree!! same situation here.

I got about 10 gallons. It used to be about 25 gallons per filter, now only 10.

Zero Water is filter good water, but it's more expensive that pickup 5 gallons of bottle from BJ's wholesale.

I'm thinking of stop buy Zeo Water, and buy bottles water instead.

Bitter with a stench | Zerowater review

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT!!!! I have both a Pur and Britta but thought I'd buy ZeroWater for better filtration. Disappointed doesn't come close to describing my frustration. We cleaned the pitcher prior to use so the following cannot be attributed to that. I noticed a stench in my teapot which is used solely for boiling water. It became so overwhelming I nearly tossed it out until I decided to try the water by itself. Not only did it stink, the water was extremely bitter. I threw out the first filter and installed a new one, cleaned the pitcher again. Same thing. I spent over $40 of the pitcher and bought 2, 4 packs of filters for an investment well over $150 only to pitch it away. The water from both my Pur and Britta tastes 100% better without any odor and the filter lasts much longer for a lot less money. I'm waiting to hear back from the company to see how they address this problem. I'd like my cash back but unlikely that will happen.

I noticed a terrible smell and I am going to wall mart to see if I can return the pitcher and filters . Also I thought that the pitcher has a flimsy spout.

You guys are crazy! and if I were you try washing your teapot that's probley where your smell and taste is coming from.

Personally I've had no problems, I've been using the same filter for a few months now or more. Your just after money!

We have approximately 40 zero water PURIFIERS in our garage storage racks! Most folks do not know the difference between a FILTER and a PURIFIER!

VAST DIFFERENCE!

Over all we are satisfied, for the moment, however we have questions not yet answered.

(1)..Why have not my questions about some dangerous spores not being filtered out of zerowater?

(2) The new red lighted filter probe; does not give any indication of when its battery is dead! The old blue probe, not only gave a digital value; but was easier to determine if its battery expired! Much inferior probe, in our opinions!

I hate to critisize any USA mage product; but unfortunately zerowater seems to have a new manufacturing objective of making things cheaper!

Why? r5r4r3@AOL.com

Zerowater - Low Quality Product Review from Temple, Texas

I knew that the Zero Water ads were too good to be true. I was on the *** of purchasing the 10 cup model but, at the last minute, I thought it would be wise to read some reviews before spending nearly forty bucks based solely on the ads I'd seen on TV. Wow... am I ever glad I did!! Thanks to the fine folks who took the time to write the reviews, I was saved from spending good money to drink water that, after a week or two, tastes like rotting fish. So, my thanks goes out to all of you who took the time to rate this product.

Beware | Zerowater review

I Recently purchased 8 cup Zero Water pitcher from Walmart. There is a serious problem with the filter. The taste is a heavy chemical, and very rancid and acidic after only 6 days use. Only used for cooking but tried a glass of water after 6 days of use as food tasted strange after using the water for cooking. The meter was RED after only 5 days. I am having the filter tested by a laboratory. My wife and I have had severe stomach problems since using the pitcher and intend to pursue the problem by whatever means necessary. I just put in a new filter and took a drink. It tasted so weird, acidic, and as soon as it started going down it was a burn and now it feels like acid reflux in my stomach.

I am interested in the materials used to filter out dissolved solids and why are there so many problems with the replacement cartridges?

I would be willing to help participate in getting a lab to go through the filter and see if there's something harmful in it. If you want help figuring this out email me anannamolly@gmail.com

Only Lasted 6 Days | Zerowater review

We loved it for the first 6 days. The water was fresh and clean. Now it has a weird almost acidic taste. If someone served it to me I would not know I was drinking water. I would rather drink from the tap. Just tested the filtered water and it came up 108 after 7 days? Really? That is insane. It was 000 when we first used it. I have read some reviews where others are stating that you have to change the filter but this is brand new, filled about 5 times only The filters are expensive and now I wish we hadn't thrown away the Brita.
