Zerowater - Horrible toxic product, don't buy!
I read all the stellar reviews from mike at nat&&^al news and I was convinced. Our city tap water was having "problems" with contaminants, so I was looking for a better filter than the pur which I have been using for years.
I purchased and the water tasted good for about 2 days, then it smelled and tasted like something died, so I thought maybe I just had a bad filter, so I replaced it and with the "brand new" filter, geese how bad can a filter get?
Well the workmanship was shoddy, the particulate matter was all over the place, in the sealed plastic bag the filter came in , and when I poured the first pitcher full, the water was so dirty with total dissolved solids, that I was thinking they sent me a used one with a new plastic wrapper on it, oh yeah and the smell was very chemically smelling, and rotten like a dead animal.
Unbelievable what corporations get away with.
Reason of review: Bad quality, actually smells like the chemical pollution it's supposed to remove.
Monetary Loss: $90.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
Location: Portland, Oregon

Update I returned the filter pitcher to where I purchased it and the replacement filters to amazon. I received all my money back but I still have to say, I highly recommend against this particular product.
I think it started out as a good filter but it would appear the manufacturing was sent to someone who could make it cheaper, and voila, *** product.
When we rely on water filters to make our water safer and cleaner so we don't get sick from the water, it's pretty bad when a filter makes the water worse than what you started with.
You people are shmucks, i've had a zero water filter for 5 years and never had any issues. Vert good product.
