Zerowater - Research, Research, Research
I can't emphasize enough taking due diligence in researching before investing in the ongoing costs associated with these products. Case-in-point; my house contains two whole house filters 10microns & 5microns filters, followed by an under-the-sink 5micron filter into a dedicated drinking faucet.
The TDS measured at the faucet is around 300-400, consistent with the company's map. To better purify the water I invested in the Zerowater 5 stage filtering system. Using filters that are rated for 15 gallons, since that should last for about 2 weeks. I have gone through 6 filters in under 6 weeks, and frankly our guests would rather drink the raw water from the faucet (taste better) than drink the fishy smelling and tasting Zerowater filtered water.
I further had our water system independently inspected, and the water passed with flying colors. I contacted Zerowater via the phone number on the box. I was told that a 400 rated TDS would drastically reduce the life of the filters and they suggested I filter bottled purified water, what an oxymoron. So I asked why would I invest in whole house filter when I would have to buy bottled water to filter?
I was told basically buyer beware.
So the only thing I am left with is an expensive plastic water pitcher. So warning again, do you due diligence in researching and evaluating your needs before you invest into expensive filters like these Zerowater filters.

Been using zero water for quiet some time now and always changed on the first onset of that fishy smell, but I'm so sick of smelling that and uneasy with went this happened that I'm am definitely switching to another brand. All the reviews just confirm this for me too.
Supplied Zerowater with contact info back on May 16th and still have not heard from them. I don't think I am allowed to give negative number to the ratings, so my rating is a negative 1.
