I dislike Zero water intensely. Going back to my Brita. Which did not stink like fishy water. Zero Water get a minus 100 million Trillion. At first I thought it was my kettle. So I went out and bought a new one. The tester I got only shows a red light when the filter is past its date. Showed OK then I boiled the water in my kettle. Hence, my puzzlement. Stank. This is going into my re cycle bin. It is so stinky the whole kitchen smelled. Yuck,...

  • Cost of filter for amount filtered

Filters only work like one time then they make an awful tasting bitter water that tastes like poison! Has to be the most expensive water I ever drank when you take into account the cost of the container and the high price of replacement filters that only are good for one time. At first I thought one of my kids poured something in the water as a prank but when I switched the filter the replacement did the same thing. I threw the whole thing in...

Now I get two pitchers of good water, and maybe one or two of so-so water, then the fish-sour smell and taste starts--my dog won't even drink it. Also, after the first two pitchers, black sand like particles begin to come up out of the filter (perhaps it is charcoal). I am very disappointed in wasting the money for not only the pitcher but also the replacement filters. After reading so many similar reviews the company really needs to solve...

00; plus shipping! Things have changed for the worse in my opinion at ZERO WATER. I can get a new meter (unless you have changed this policy also) by purchasing a new unit that contains a pitcher and filter(s). Also the filters do not last as long as they used to do. I have been a loyal customer for 6+ years; but if you keep on with these destructive measures I may have to go to an under the sink osmosis filtering system! I wish to keep on with...

After 3 weeks of the ZeroWater filtering our water, it started smelling fishy. I cleaned out the container and actually used distilled (000) water but the fish smell still came out of the filter. Then I googled the issue and found about 100 complaints of fish smell. I will not buy this product again. "So, not only is the filter life greatly exaggerated (or grossly misleading at best), but the fishy smell is practically a guarantee once the...

Our well water has around 340 PPM of total dissolved solids and tastes good as is, but I wanted to bring down the tds. A ZeroWater mini filter in a Britta was great for 1 day only, it brought it down to 20 PPM and the taste was the same as from our faucet-very good. The second day it tasted and smelled fishy and we were unable to drink it so I put in a new filter and its back to 20 PPM. That is way to expensive to change filters every day! Will...

And after about four days the water starts to taste bitter and sour, actually causing a gag reflex in myself and my pets. The tap water which has a ppm of over 300 has better taste than the 0 water at 68 ppm... I'm convinced the company is DISHONEST and has deliberately placed additives in the filter to make the water undrinkable after a week so you are forced to go through filters faster. And at $10.00 per filter that is not a cheap...

At this point I'm thinking of going for a Reverse Osmosis system because the water pretty much where ever you are is contaminated one way or another! The reason being I just replaced this filter no more than a month ago or less and the water is starting to taste bad at this rate were looking at $360 per year using Zerowater and our health is worth it but there has got to be a better way! It would be great if we could find the filters at around...

I GOT SUCKED IN. don't believe the hype . the super slick packing and advertising would have you think this is a fabulous option. the Zerowater filtered carafe it is not worth the money. the replacement filters are crazy expensive. the unit itself is very cumbersome to fill .the spout leaks in fridge which created an awful mess and the carafe makes a horrible screech sound when moved. the gauge that come with it is a great concept but...

Returning mine. Over worked using this system. The inside gets slimy when resting cool in the fridge. Not an easy product to deal with and always a disappointment. Better to buy bottled water again. The lead measuring tool says 350 not matter what water I put it in. That means no water is diverse in lead content. Water through out countless areas in the US have a 350 lead content. Really? Why is that? I will tell you why the mechanism...
